Running Late

At The DO Salon we aim to run on time, however we are aware that things can get in the way and both clients or our team can run late. For this reason we offer our clients a 20 minute cut off period from the scheduled booking time before having to reschedule the appointment. 

Blow Dry - Express

Our stylists prefer to finish hair with a ‘DO’ dry off so both the client and stylist are able to see what the end result will look like, therefore we offer a dry off with hot tools.

Blow Dry High-Fuss

We acknowledge that all our clients love a high fuss blow-dry. To provide a high quality service, we request a 45-60 minute service to be able to provide a polished, perfect finish.

Neck Trim

The DO offers a complimentary neck trim service as long as it is within 2/3 weeks of your last haircut.

Complimentary Adjustment

The DO Salon offers complimentary adjustment services within two weeks of your service. Simply tell us your concerns and we will arrange an appointment for whatever adjustments may be required.

Referrals

Credit will apply to your next visit for all loyalty referrals. Our price structure reflects the educational level and practical experience of our stylists and colourists.

Online Bookings

We love that our clients book online however our stylists would request that when making your booking for a colour service or any other specialised service (whether it be a low fuss blow-dry or cut), that you make sure to book this in also. That way we can ensure each client receives the appropriate amount of time needed to complete their service.

Deposits

A 50% deposit will be required upon booking any service. The deposit will be taken at the time of booking and redeemed on the day of your appointment.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hour’s notice, otherwise the 50% deposit will be forfeited. We understand that life circumstances including that COVID-19 isolation will happen.  

Cancellations

An SMS text reminder will be sent 2 days prior to your booking. Please confirm YES or contact us immediately if you need to cancel, so we can offer that time slot to another client. If a deposit has been paid it will be refunded, or held for your next booking.

However, if you don’t provide us with 48 hours notice or you fail to turn up for your appointment your deposit will be forfeited.

We cannot accept messages left on Sundays or public holidays if your appointment is the within 48 hours of these days, as it doesn't provide sufficient notice to try and fill your appointment time.  Whilst we appreciate that it may not always be possible, we ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointment during salon hours. 

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and we will continue to try to keep things fair for all of our clients.

Children

Children will be charged at full price for Saturday appointments.

Gift Cards

The DO Salon Gift card can be redeemable on any service or products sold at The DO Salon. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced or refunded. No change will be given but balance may be applied to future purchases. The DO Salon has the right to change these terms of use at any stage.

Payments

All purchases from The DO Salon are transmitted through a secure server using PayPal. Card data is not stored by The DO Salon after processing.

Delivery & Salon Pick Up

We offer both Salon Pick Up and Delivery.  You will receive a confirmation email of your purchase. All orders that request delivery are sent via Australia Post. Orders made before 12pm EST will be dispatched the same day. Any orders received after that time will be shipped the following day.
